Dr. Abhijit Gholap is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialised in Minimally Invasive Surgery, Sports Injury and Joint Replacement surgery. Working as a Consultant for Orthopaedics, Arthroscopy, Sports Injuries and Joint Replacement Surgery at Jehangir Hospital, Sahyadri Hospital (now Manipal Hospital), Oyster & Pearl Hospital, as well as associated with many renowned hospitals in Pune, he is an expert in the treatment of all types of fractures including complex fractures along with the sports injuries and joint problems. With an Orthopaedic practice from last 12 years, he has successfully performed numerous surgeries and treated his patients very well.

He further honed his skills after being selected as a clinical fellow in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery in Knee & Shoulder under the world renowned surgeon Dr. Ramon Cugat Bertomeu at the prestigious centre of Mutualitat de Futbolistes Catalanes, entity of the Spanish Football Federation and at Trauma department in Quiron Hospital, Barcelona, Spain (ISAKOS-Approved Teaching Center). He is also trained in Robotic Assisted Joint Replacement Surgery of Hip & Knee. Numerous surgeries have been performed using the minimally invasive approach with great results by him.

He has attended many workshops and conferences on Orthopaedics across India and has been a Life Member of the Poona Orthopaedic Association, the Indian Arthroscopy Society & Indian Society of Hip & Knee Surgeons.
